I hope you enjoy this collection of palm tree photos in the Traveler’s Show and Tell blog carnival. They were snapped by iPhone during my recent jaunt to Florida. There is so much variety in those Florida palms, and they are so expressive – which seems an odd thing to say about a tree – but they have such a strong visual presence; they steal the scene in every backdrop!

Hi Tui, I like your sentiments about home as a travel distination! I enjoy getting away but I enjoy getting home as much! Your photos are great and I thought you might want to look at some other great shots about trees. The site below has a comprehensive book on South Florida trees and it features another book with amazing photographs of Giant Sequias. You can enjoy the imaginative photographs of the giant sequias on the site and even watch a relaxing video where the owner combined thoughtful shots to match Emerson quotes.
